Working primarily in metals and glass, each piece is maticuluously crafted. Every surface and component is finished to the highest degree. Many hours are spent on details, some of which may only be visible upon close inspection but all are necessary elements of the final effect.   Lighting is used in many of my designs. I love the way it plays off both metal and glass and the drama it can create with shadows on surrounding surfaces. Light gives each piece a different character by night and contributes to the ambiance of the room. Some of the biggest influences on my designs are architecture, automobiles, ancient civilizations, science fiction and the art deco style. I think of my pieces as  contemporary but with strong ties to both the past and a vision of the future. It is my belief that when you put great energy into the creation of an object, that energy becomes intrinsic. I want to endow utilitarian objects with strength, elegance and beauty that will endure centuries.
